• Your address as it’s listed on the policy
• Your contact details as they’re listed on your policy
• Details of anyone else who’s involved in your claim
• Any receipts, invoices, medical records or police reports
Travel insurance FAQs
It’s smart to purchase travel insurance as soon as a trip is booked, as this may increase the financial protection you may be eligible for.
If the policy is purchased before departing on the trip, you may be able to make claims for rearrangements and cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances outside your control, if cancellation cover is included in your policy.
Blue Insurance policies have a 21-day cooling-off period. You can cancel your policy within this period as long as you haven’t started your trip yet or have not made a claim or intend to make a claim.

If something goes wrong during your travels, it’s best to let us know ASAP.
However, you can make a claim anytime within 60 days of the return date shown on your Certificate of Insurance.
All you need to do is fill out an online claim form or PDF claim form.

Our travel insurance plans provide automatic cover for some existing medical conditions. These medical conditions, as well as the conditions you must meet for cover, are listed in our PDS.
If you have one or more existing medical conditions that are not on this list or you do not meet the listed coverage conditions, you’ll need to complete an online medical assessment when getting your travel insurance quote for all conditions.
This medical assessment will allow you to easily declare all your conditions so we can quickly tell you if we can provide cover for them.
Once you complete the assessment, you may be asked to pay an extra premium to include the cover in your policy. Some conditions can be included for no additional premium.
